He is the author of many professional textbooks for students and several non-fiction books lauding the history and beauty of his home region. He now fears he may have been too successful in luring visitors and potential residents to the region and has written You Wouldn't Like it Here to present the "realities" of visiting and living in a remote region which should be known to attracted to the area.
