Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Ron Bernstein is associate director of the Foundation for Enterprise Development, a non-profit organization formed to promote the benefits of entrepreneurial employee ownership worldwide. Bernstein has counseled hundreds of companies in all stages of development on structuring employee ownership programs that meet their corporate objectives and equity sharing goals. Prior to joining the Foundation, Bernstein worked for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), one of the largest employee-owned firms in the United States where he was involved in tax compliance. As manager of SAIC's retirement programs, Bernstein oversaw the company's profit sharing, 401(k) and ESOP programs.

David Binns is associate director of the Foundation for Enterprise Development. A published author and frequent speaker on issues related to employee ownership and enterprise development, Binns has consulted with a variety of companies, both domestic and international, on the legal, financial and human resource implications of the structure and implementation of employee ownership plans. From 1984 to 1991, he served as executive director of The ESOP Association where he directed the Association's programs including government and public relations, publications, conferences and membership services. He is also the editor of the 1996 Employee Stock Ownership Plan Yearbook.

The Foundation for Enterprise Development is a private, non-profit foundation which promotes enterprise development through the application of employee ownership and participation programs. With offices in La Jolla, CA and Washington, DC, the Foundation provides a variety of consulting, information and

advisory services on employee ownership issues to a broad spectrum of U.S. and international corporations and organizations.
