Peter Renton is president of Renton's International Stationery, Inc. in Denver, Colorado. His company sells collection labels to accounts receivable departments and they have been running the "Check is in the Mail" Contest since 1994, where customers write in the most hiliarious excuses they have heard for not paying the bills.
