Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Caryn Colgan knew she wanted to be an artist since she was a child drawing flowers and hawks in her private diary. She studied art and painting in high school, college and during some of her global travels. Painting batik in Bali, Indonesia was definitely a highlight for her. She has won awards for her photography and writing. In addition to working as a business consultant and executive trainer for some major companies, Caryn is an author. Her book, Ancient Pact: The Element of Air and the companion deck of contemplation cards were published in 2007. She had delivered keynotes and public seminars in seven countries to people from every continent except Antarctica. Art took a back seat to her business consulting career so that she could be sure her dog, LD Little Dog, would never go hungry. To feed her creative Spirit, she still travels with color pencils and paper since painting supplies are impractical for business trips requiring air travel. Many of the designs in her coloring books are based on the art created during her travels. The idea for this book was proposed by her sister, Cathy Parsons. Cathy saw her color pencil portfolio and mentioned the popularity of adult coloring books. She was immediately passionate about creating inspirational, entertaining and healthy coloring pages.
