Mark Katz, with over 33 years experience as a professional dog trainer, has successfully trained thousands of dogs and their owners. He has also published the training and behavior newsletter, "Katz on Dogs" for veterinarians. His unique style and progressive techniques are effectively incorporated into this book.

Dr. Dru Katz is a 1981 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been actively practicing veterinary medicine for the past 21 years. Particularly interested in the Human/Animal Bond, her insight into the needs of clients and their pets has been a motivation for the writing of this and other books.
