Laura Toland is a corporate consultant, writer, world traveler, and actor. She is also President of an award-winning corporate marketing and communications consultancy and has written and edited informational websites for The White House and The New York Times. Laura's creative passion is acting. She has appeared in professional Off-Broadway productions, several independent films, TV commercials and on stage at American Conservatory Theatre, Marin Theatre Company and Ross Valley Players. James Toland is Travel Features Columnist for LovinLife.com, one of the nation's most respected online magazines and free recreational websites. He is a former Fortune 500 Company executive and San Francisco Chronicle writer and editor. Jim Toland has also taught writing and journalism at San Francisco State University. He is author of three other books (City Limits, In and Out of Ireland and Maleficus) and has also written for The New York Times, Newsday, Sports Illustrated and other publications.
