Sarah Shapiro, CSW is a licensed psychotherapist who is devoted to integrating spirituality into the practice of psychotherapy. Since 1990, she has maintained a private practice in New York City. Ms. Shapiro is a well-known workshop teacher and has taught at various New York City locations including: the Integral Yoga Institute, The New York Open Center, Om Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Go Yoga, Makor and the Elizabeth Seton Childbearing Center. Ms. Shapiro is a certified yoga instructor and has practiced hatha yoga and meditation for over fourteen years. She is also a poet and fiction writer.
