The author was raised on a farm in Indiana during the middle of the twentieth century. After the family left the farm, he went on to earn a BA Degree in English and a MS Degree in Counseling from the University of Arizona. Following a brief tour of duty in the Army, he worked as teacher and continues working as a counselor. With his wife of 30 years, he raised two sons in Sacramento, CA and now lives on a small ranch in the foothills east of Sacramento.
