Reciting them in Sanskrit creates a meditative atmosphere within and without made by the tranquil radiation from Absolute Reality. It clarifies our Buddhi, discriminative Intellect, and purifies the mind of its stored karmas, bringing spiritual awareness, strength and blessings. This manual provides the devanagari, transliteration, word-by-word English translation, and verse meaning. Translated by a Vedic monk and his American disciple, it is designed to train spiritual seekers in the ancient practice of vocal prayer.
