Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Peter Anastas was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts in 1937 into a Greek family. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Tufts University, and lived for three years in Florence, Italy. His first book was "Glooskap's Children: Encounters with the Penobscot Indians of Maine," (Beacon Press, 1973) . He has also written (with Peter Parsons) "When Gloucester was Gloucester: Toward an Oral History of the City," and "Siva Dancing: a Memoir," and "Landscape with Boy," a novella in the Boston University Fiction Series, as well as "Maximus to Gloucester: the Letters and Poems of Charles Olson to the Editor of the Gloucester Daily Times."
