Howard B. Schiffer is the author of three books; 'First Love / Remembrances' , 'How To Be A Family / The Operating Manual' and 'How To Be The Best Lover - A Guide for Teenage Boys. He began his career as a midwife where he worked with some of the founders of the home birth movement. He then entered the natural foods marketplace, which lead to a number of successes creating, developing, or introducing many well-known national brands. In 1994, he founded Vitamin Angel Alliance, the humanitarian arm of the natural products industry. He now lectures and leads workshops around the country. Mr. Schiffer lives in Santa Barbara, California with his wife and three children.
