This is a true account of my life. I was a young commanding officer during the Second World War defending Greece, my home country, from the Barbaric German Army. I was wounded many times often badly and , on one mission, I was captured by the Gestapo who severly tortured me. By the grace of God and sheer willpower I escaped and, in the process, I freed forty jewish prisoners scheduled for execution.

I left WWII behind me only to walk into Civil War in Greece. Again I was captured, this time by the Facists and they put me before a firing squad. With the help of friends and luck, my life was spared, rather than death I was exiled to a prison. I was granted amnesty and chose to immigrate to Canada. With no money in my pockets, no place to go, no food, destitute, I slept in a park for days. On the brink of death, I rallied my last ounce of hope and with the grace of God I began to turn my life around.

In the past five decades I have become a successful entrepreneur making a name for myself in the restaurant business. I continue to look for new adventures.
