As president and CEO of a full-service investigative and security consulting firm in San Jose, California, James McGrew has over thirty years of experience in planning, implementing, and managing security programs in both the public and private sectors. After serving as a law enforcement officer, Jim worked in management and security for several different companies. He worked his way up through the ranks, and eventually became a high-level manager of a Fortune 500 company.
During his corporate career, Jim developed his
ability to evaluate and execute investigative assignments. His techniques are designed to fit the needs and styles of corporate entities, such as human resources, legal departments, and top tier management. Jim has used his experience to develop effective protocols and successfully teamed with other senior level managers to investigate fraud, theft, conflicts of interest, and other ethical violations of domestic and international scope.
Stressing the value and implementation of risk assessment, Jim has
applied his expertise to corporate security, high-tech manufacturing, health care safety and security, and corporate investigations. His pro-active management programs have successfully addressed violence in the workplace, travel safety, emergency action and contingency plans, and other vital security issues.
Jim is a Certified Protection Professional, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Private Investigator licensed by the State of California, and he earned his Masters degree in Administration of Justice from San Jose State.
