Best-selling author Lynda Lee Macken grew up on Staten Island where her fascination with the paranormal was fostered. Ghostly encounters in upstate New York, along with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Rutgers University, led her to a career of chronicling true ghost stories. In addition to her many radio and television appearances, including Unsolved Mysteries, Ms. Macken has consulted for A&E’s Paranormal State and Psychic Kids, Ghost Hunters, PBS, Scariest Places on Earth, Sightings, and the Travel Channel. She is a member of the Academy of Spirituality and Paranormal Studies, Inc.
