Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

ROBYN ARCHER, AO, is a singer, writer and director. Having performed in recent years in Zurich, Berlin, New York and Oxford, as well as Australia, she is currently preparing a new work with Paul Grabowsky and the Australian Art Orchestra. After ten years in London where her one-woman show, A Star is Torn, ran for a year in the West End, Robyn returned to Australia, where she has developed new dimensions to her career. Archer has been the Chair of the Australia Council's Community Cultural Board and was Artistic Director of the National Festival of Australian Theatre (1993–95), the Adelaide Festival (1998–2000), the Melbourne International Festival of Arts (2002–04) and created a new festival for Tasmania, Ten Days on the Island, which was inaugurated in 2001. She continues to serve on a number of arts-related boards in Australia. Robyn is a Chevalier de l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres (France), and has been given honorary doctorates by Flinders (SA) and Sydney Universities.
