Linda G. Chafin is a botanist at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia. Formerly a botanist for the Florida Natural Areas Inventory and a private environmental consultant, Chafin has conducted rare plant surveys throughout the Southeast. She is also the author of Field Guide to the Rare Plants of Florida.
