Piero Rivolta believes in weaving poetry into the prose of life. That is the way he thinks and that is the way he writes. Coming from a family of Italian automakers, he left his native country in 1980 for the United States, looking for a business climate that better suited his maverick personality and passion for innovative design. After becoming a successful real estate developer and boat builder, he turned his energies and resources toward the arts, founding an international chamber music festival in Sarasota, Florida. His fondness for sailing and love of music are matched by a desire to transform the language of the novel into a more poetic lyric.
