Kim Morin has always had an appreciation and awareness of the wisdom that emanates from those who have lived long lives. Her professional background is in social work, and she served as a supervisor of a domestic violence shelter. Kim is married to a chiropractor whose focus is on alternative medicine. She and her husband, Todd, live with Hannah, her seventh-grade daughter. Danielle, her twenty-one-year-old daughter, is attending junior college. Kim has a variety of interest including raising her three dogs, container gardening, jewelry design, portrait drawing , and photography.

Rita Blockman is a social worker and began her career working with older adults. Beginning in 1985, Rita became a regional director of an international adoption agency and worked in this capacity for twenty-three years. She lives in Champaign, Illinois, with her husband, Arnold, who is a state court judge. They have two children. In her spare time, Rita enjoys classical music, yoga, and flower gardening. Kimberly Morin has always had an appreciation and awareness of the wisdom that emanates from those who have lived long lives.
