Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Mark McLaughlin's fiction, nonfiction and poetry have appeared in hundreds of magazines, anthologies, newspapers and websites. His books of short stories include Slime After Slime, Motivational Shrieker, Pickman's Motel, and a three-way collection with Shane Ryan Staley and Brian Knight entitled At The Foothills Of Frenzy & Other Freakish Forays. His poetry collections include Professor LaGungo's Exotic Artifacts & Assorted Mystic Collectibles, Men Are From Hell, Women Are From The Galaxy Of Death, and Phantasmapedia, which have all been Bram Stoker Finalists for Best Poetry Collection. He is the co-author, with Rain Graves and David Niall Wilson, of the poetry book The Gossamer Eye, which won the Bram Stoker Award for Poetry. Michael McCarty is a former stand-up comedian, coffeehouse musician and managing editor of a music magazine. His first book, Giants of The Genre, was a collection of interviews with the greats of sci-fi, horror and fantasy including Dean Koontz, Ray Bradbury, Peter Straub, and others. He also wrote Dark Duets, a collection of short-story collaborations, and More Giants of The Genre, which was a Bram Stoker Finalist for Best Nonfiction Book. He is also the author of Ghosts of Route 66, co-written with Connie Corcoran Wilson, Little Creatures, Modern Mythmakers, Monster Hunter, and more forthcoming books – a complete list can be found online at www.myspace.com/monsterbook. Currently he is a staff writer for Science Fiction Weekly, the website of the SCI FI Channel. Michael McCarty and Mark McLaughlin are also co-authors of the horror novel, Monster Behind The Wheel, published by Corrosion Press/Delirium Books and All Things Dark And Hideous, a short story collection published in England.
