Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

John Boyages MD, PhD is a cancer specialist with over 30 years experience in the management of breast cancer. Following his training at the University of Sydney and a fellowship at Harvard Medical School, he was appointed as a specialist radiation oncologist at Westmead Hospital in 1989 and established one of Australia s largest breast cancer screening and treatment programs. He is now the Director and Professor of Breast Oncology at the Macquarie University Cancer Institute. He is a busy clinician who cares for patients at Macquarie University Hospital. He is the author of several books, including award winning Breast Cancer: Taking Control and DCIS of the Breast:Taking Control.
