Karen Smalls-Horlback is an educator at an urban school in Charleston, South Carolina. She is a Career and Technology Teacher (CTE) and has taught at the same location for 8 years. She loves imparting wisdom on today’s youths. She believes that every child has the potential to become something great! Excellent teachers help to make this possible. Currently she is pursuing her doctorate of Management in the area of Information Systems with a specialization in Technology at the University of Phoenix. Her spiritual journey has prompted her to share her experiences with others. Karen is also a wife, mother of three and grandmother. Besides teaching, she owns several small businesses.
