Inhaltsangabe

A charming story, a composting chart, and illustrations of what can be composted, are featured in this humorous, but inspiring book! Follow a young boy named Casey as he learns about composting and what it can do to provide nutrition to plants and reduce waste. After assessing the sad condition of the plants at his school, Casey decides to take matters into his own hands by collecting food waste from fellow students. At first, they think he's crazy, but supportive adults in Casey's life recognize his passion and help him to make composting a school-wide policy that inspires the town to follow suit. After the story, this book contains compost instructions, illustrations of compostable items, a composting chart and a list of suggestions to help reduce waste.
