Daniel Milstein: Superstar Salesman, Superstar CEO, Superstar Author A motivated, driven, determined, successful, and savvy businessman, the CEO of Ann Arbor based Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group is passing the secrets of his success on to others in the sales business. The ABC of Sales is a guide for professionals who want to soar in sales, revive their sales careers, or position their companies among the elite. A dedicated professional, Dan’s business savvy is demonstrated by his ranking as the #1 Loan Officer in the United States for two consecutive years, and among the top 10 nationally for the last decade. His extensive research of both domestic and foreign financial markets, as well as a thorough understanding of the fluctuations of business, has helped him manage Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group through the financial crisis. However, what truly motivates Dan to continue pursuing business success is his sense of loyalty to his more than 400 employees and their families, totaling over 1,500 people, who depend on Gold Star’s stability. Now, with The ABC of Sales: Lessons from a Superstar (ISBN: 978-0-9835527-2-7), Dan has authored a book that provides tips, advice, and insight to those looking to build or resurrect a career in sales. Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group currently stands as one of the top mortgage brokerages in the United States. Inc. Magazine has listed Gold Star as one of the 500 fastest growing, privately held companies nationwide for two consecutive years, and the Detroit Free Press has listed Gold Star as a Top Workplace in Michigan for two years running. Within the last year and a half alone Gold Star has opened 10 new branch offices across the country. Gold Star has rapidly grown to over 400 employees, thriving in a financial job market that is dwindling as a whole. Gold Star now operates 26 branch offices throughout the country. Since 2005, revenues have increased 730% and Gold Star is currently closing over a billion dollars in loans annually. Dan Milstein: The Portfolio It’s the strength that Dan has built in his personal relationships that allows Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group to grow and prosper with its partners and business ventures. Dan is a true testament to exactly what can be achieved through hard work, business sense, and willingness to take a risk. His dedication to the community and helping others to achieve their goals is a true representation of exactly the kind of business Dan conducts.
