Inhaltsangabe

This is newly enhanced edition of the memoir of BBC/Masterpiece actor Robin Ellis, the original Captain Ross Poldark in the classic television series. This expanded edition includes an all-new chapter with recent photos documenting Robin’s return to television playing Judge Halse in the new Poldark series with Aiden Turner in the lead role.

First broadcast in the 1970s, Poldark is a saga of thwarted love, passion and swashbuckling adventure set against hard times in 18th century Cornwall. The series became an international sensation in over 40 countries around the world.

This memoir offers behind-the-scenes stories and photos from the original series, an insider's look at Robin's role in the new series, and a glimpse of Robin's current passion as a cookbook author.

Making Poldark is also available as an audiobook, read by the author.
