In Loukoumi In The Basket by Nick Katsoris, Loukoumi is disappointed in her Easter basket each year because she wants a lamb in her basket instead of an Easter Bunny. As the adventure progresses Loukoumi visits a magical wonderland of sweets with a candy river, hills made of marshmallow chicks and jelly bean petaled flowers in every color. Loukoumi then meets the Easter Bunny, who is contemplating skipping his Easter journey this year. In the end Loukoumi saves the day by helping the Easter Bunny and learns that Easter is about more than just what she receives in her Easter basket.

Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell, who previously participated in the 2011 release, Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook, lends her wonderful voice to the project as narrator of the e-book and the download that comes with the hardcover book. Past narrators of the Loukoumi books include Jennifer Aniston, Morgan Freeman, Nia Vardalos, Gloria Gaynor and Olympia Dukakis, among others.

All proceeds from Loukoumi In The Basket benefit The Loukoumi Make A Difference Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization that teaches children to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. The Foundation sponsors Make A Difference with Loukoumi Day, which unites over 50,000 children nationwide to do various good deed projects. The Foundation also sponsors Loukoumi Dream Day, where children's dream careers come true for a day. Past winners have played soccer with the NY Red Bulls, sang from the Broadway stage, spent the day with their favorite actress at Lincoln Center, watched a spaceship land on Mars, cooked on TV and met with Rachael Ray and Cat Cora, and more. Biografía del autor:

A graduate of Fordham College of Business Administration and Fordham Law School, Katsoris is General Counsel of the Red Apple Group and President and co-founder of the Hellenic Times Scholarship Fund, which has awarded almost 1,000 scholarships totaling over $2.5 million. Nick is also a board member of Chefs for Humanity, has worked on a Loukoumi literacy awareness program with the National Ladies Philoptochos Society, and is a member of Kiwanis International. Nick currently resides in Eastchester, New York, with his wife, Voula, a real estate broker and attorney, and their children, Constantine and Julia.
