James Henry Worth was a typical American boy…until the day his quiet life was shattered by a ferocious Minotaur who exiled him for a crime he did not commit. Now, imprisoned in the middle of the Mojave Desert, this modern-day Prometheus is relentlessly confronted with the mysteries of his past and punished for the sins of the father he never met. When at long last a stranger plucks him out of his desert prison, James enlists the help of new friends to search for the remains of his lost life, not knowing that his hunt is bringing him ever closer to an ancient power that holds the fate of the entire world in its grasp. To survive, James must rely on the stranger who rescued him, an enigmatic woman with her own tortured past, and the untapped power within himself. An urban fantasy written with lush detail and realism, SON OF THE FALLEN is a novel about those who discover that they're not quite ordinary and their fight to survive in an extraordinary world.

Alan T. Luu was born in 1975 in Can Tho, Vietnam, months after the end of the Vietnam War. He and his family were among hundreds of thousands of ethnic Chinese who fled Vietnam in the years after the war. They were fortunate enough to be accepted as refugees into the United States, where Alan would start kindergarten without a lick of English ability. Years later, he would become a naturalized U.S. citizen and graduate from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology. Along the way, Alan discovered a love for the arts, including dance, theater, and of course, writing. He currently lives in Germany with his new wife and is excited to share the first book in his series, SON OF THE FALLEN.
