Lauren Bond has been a professional animal trainer since 1998. She works with a variety of species, but spends most of her work hours with dogs. Lauren has trained dogs for search and rescue work, scent work, and service work. In 2008, Lauren decided it was time to work for herself, so with the support of her husband and family she started B-More Charming School for Dogs in Baltimore, Maryland. She loves teaching group classes and seeing owners and dogs connecting through training. When Lauren isn't teaching group classes she is seeing private clients or writing. Lauren has written articles for a number of professional trade publications, local magazines, and papers. She has been interviewed on radio and television shows, and for print articles. Lauren is working on a series of DVD's and short internet videos to accompany her first book: Boredom Busters for Dogs, published 2011 by ClickSmart Publishing. Lauren is now working on her second book with should be available in the summer of 2012. Lauren and her husband Rob have 1 Border Collie of Leisure named Deuce, a drooling cat named Gertrude, and various other animals who demand to be fed and played with at any given time. When she isn't cooking for her husband or working, Lauren enjoys spending time outside either horseback riding, or hiking and camping.
