John Ewing is a professional flight instructor and FAA-Designated Pilot Examiner who lives and teaches California. He is the author of Concise Guide to IFR, Concise Guide to the Cessna 172S, Concise Guide to the Diamond DA40-180, Concise Guide to the Diamond DA40NG, and Concise Guide to the Diamond DA42. Mr. Ewing has logged over 10,000 hours of flight time and holds a Cessna Citation CE510 type rating with single-pilot authorization.
