Kimberly Schmidt is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned two bachelor's degrees -- one in Animal Science and one in Nursing. Married, with two sons, she currently lives on a farm near Charlottesville, Virginia, where she spends her time breeding and training horses and writing children's books.
