This volume, reminiscent of the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, contains the oldest rosary clausulae in Latin and their English counterparts. It brings together different traditional elements of a prayer that over centuries has evolved and which continues to form the faithful in the Gospel. There are three Psalters or groupings of fifty meditations in this collection. The clausular rosary consecrates a particular mystery of the life of Jesus to each Hail Mary.
