The first super PAC wasn't about the money. Long before Citizens United, the NSA and Edward Snowden broke into the news, Stewert James revealed how the NSA has been following the political money and the politicians using it. Parker Moore finds himself at the crossroads of his career: Work with the NSA or be held up as a scapegoat. Moore traverses the country with a wire while attempting to plot his own way out before he either kills himself or gets killed. The politics in the story are based on real events and real people making headlines that only now are coming to light. The new American way of electing our leadership will never be the same, and it all starts here.

Stewert James is a retired RN with a BSN, MS in Healthcare Services Administration, and has spent 40 years in healthcare - 25 of those years as an educator, administrator, CEO, lobbyist, and PAC administrator. Stewert, a father of 3 gifted children, is a writer, poet and novelist known to travel the streets, roads, and byways of the Little Traverse Bay area looking for his next character. You may find him doing his Wellness groups at several locations, being Mater' D at Chandler's - A Restaurant, and volunteering at Brother Dan's Food Pantry or Crooked Tree Art Center. And you may read his stories written in the Petoskey News-Review, HomeLife, or Edibles magazine. But most assuredly, you'll see him on the Bay in his kayak, in the woods with his backpack, coursing through towns on his bike, on the river with his fly-rod, or sitting somewhere enjoying a classic single malt as he works on the next novel.
Super PAC Strikethrough reveals the truth about politics and how our "elected" officials are controlled and corrupted by money. Although this thriller opens on a quiet day in a sleepy town in Northern Michigan, it quickly propels readers across the country and into the intrigue of political infighting, unions, and the influence of political action committee's (PAC's). Lobbyist and union executive Parker Moore needs to escape the trappings of his job and dysfunctional home life before he is killed. He trusts no one as he tries to extricate himself from the politics of Lansing, Chicago, Juneau, and D.C. and his abusive, borderline personality wife. The first book in a trilogy is based on actual events. Stewert won't name names, but says, "All the politics in the book are true. I believe there's enough information in here for readers to guess who they are."
