His interest in memory improvement dates back to his childhood, trying to find better ways to remember information in school. In his 20s, Brad became fascinated with techniques that would allow an ordinary person to memorize a shuffled deck of playing cards, long numbers, or even an entire magazine. He learned the techniques and applied them to learning to speak a foreign language. Several years later, he threw himself into learning more about the mind and memory, and soon after started attending memory competitions all over the world. He has won several bronze medals in the USA Memory Championship. In 2012 Brad competed in the World Memory Championship in London, memorizing nine decks of shuffled playing cards perfectly in one hour. Brad continues to improve his memory daily, memorizing decks of playing cards, numbers, names and faces, poetry, and more, but is most passionate about helping others learn how to remember better. He speaks frequently on the subject of memory improvement for students in grades 3 through 8, as well as for senior citizens, baby boomers, salespeople and executives.
