A native of Winnipeg, Canada, Sid Shapira began his career as a reporter before moving into the field of corporate communications. His first book was The Time of My Life, the autobiography of Jack Leonard, a former Time Inc. executive. Since then, he has written numerous life stories through his memoir writing business, Stories Be Told (storiesbetold.com). Sid and his wife, Sheryl, live in San Diego, California with their stubby-tailed Manx rescue cats, Winnie and Marley, and their delightful dog, Danny.
