Slave of Akrona is the 12th novel by Gregory Urbach, author of the alternate history adventure Custer at the Alamo, the fantasy epic Magistrate of the Dark, and the nine book Waters of the Moon science fiction saga which begins with Tranquility's Child, the tale of an orphaned child raised on the moon by computers. He lives with his artist wife, Kwei-lin Lum, in California's San Fernando Valley.
