Barbara worked as senior architect and performance advocate at Canada's national public radio and television broadcaster (CBC), where she acted as an evangelist for mobile web development and performance optimization. As the API Product Manager, she now oversees the development of OANDA's APIs and their developer community.

As an international speaker, a contributor to jsmanners, and the organizer of the Toronto Web Performance Meetup, Barbara shares her web performance passion and knowledge with the community.
