This is the story of six generations of Hudgins, from Moses and his wife, Ann Mouck, to their great-great-great-grand daughter, Laura, all of whom lived in, worked at or played around the log house.

This heritage building, one of the last remaining vestiges of early settlement in Canada, is now being restored. Profits from the sale of this book will help to revitalize the Moses Hudgin log house.

Laura Hudgin Edge has been fascinated by her ancestors' log house ever since her dad would take her to visit as a young girl. She studied history and geography at Queen's University and taught high-school for several years. She is now a Curriculum Consultant at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. She and her husband have a house in Prince Edward County and they often take their children to visit the log house by the south shore.
