Inhaltsangabe

After nearly two and a half years on police bail, the author was charged with a criminal offence that could be life-defining, even life-ending in terms of being able to earn a living and build a reputation. Suspended without pay from a job he never wanted and with the ‘intelligence’ that had led to his arrest being withheld by police, he started his battle-plan of survival ahead of a trial that might be the fight of his life. He researched the law, compiled his court documentation for his legal team and began his investigation of the criminal girlfriend of a former housemate whom he (and his legal team believed) was the source of his troubles. When you are fighting a ghost accuser who is protected by the law, you need all your wits about you. At times broken, beaten and desperate, Mad As Hell (Part Two) is his story - from criminal charge to case dropped. Not only is it a tale of the falsely accused, Part Two is a guide to how to build a legal defence and survive when your world is crumbling around you. MAD AS HELL – the non-fiction story of a white-collar professional man on police bail for three years. Arrested on information never shared, subject to an inept police investigation that violated its own Codes of Practice, it is a story of a type of modern-day madness. Both compelling and horrifying, the author concludes with his ‘final thoughts’ and advice for the reader in case s/he should ever find him/herself in a similar situation.
