Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Dr. Luz Claudio is a tenured professor and Chief of the Division of International Health at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, ranked among the top 20 medical schools in the United States. There, she is a member of the faculty in Department of Preventive Medicine specializing in the study of how environmental pollution affects human health. She is a member of numerous national and international committees and is a well-recognized expert in environmental health research. She has published over 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals and books and she currently sits on the editorial board for two medical journals. Luz is especially well-regarded as a mentor and educator. She directs several training programs through which she has mentored over 350 graduate students, undergraduates and US and international postdoctoral fellows (many from non-English speaking countries). The methods presented in this book have been proven effective in Dr. Claudio's training programs which have a high rate of successful publication by her students. Her 25 years of experience teaching students and junior researchers how to write and publish their research have now been distilled into this easy-to-follow workbook.
