These and other life experiences have convinced her that reality is highly overrated. To escape, she writes fantasy, science fiction, romance and a few other genres, sometimes all in the same book. There is nothing she enjoys more than dreaming up new characters and plots. But since she must eat and pay her bills, she toils by day as a journalist, and writes by night. She lives in Maryland with her Great Dane, Daisy Mae.
