Tami Olabode Gilbert, RN, MSN, MBA, Author, Outreach OSHA Trainer, ServSave Food Sanitation Safety Trainer Tami Gilbert is a native of Nigeria with a background in health care. Tami was brought to America by her father in search of a better edu- cation and a better life. Tami always dreamed of achieving the Ameri- can success story of professional and personal accomplishments. Tami went on to earn her MSN and MBA degrees because she realized that education was the way out of her struggles. Through struggle and persistence, she has achieved her dream of becoming a professional, a wife, and a mother. In addition to being an author, she works in the Hospital in Quality Improvement Department contributing to the best practices of delivering better and safer surgical care to patients nationally. She is also a safety expert who specializes in decreasing workplace injuries, an OSHA trainer and a motivational speaker. Tami is an International Advisory Board member of the Professional Woman Network and Pro- fessional Woman Speakers Bureau.
