As one of the purposes of the book is to preserve the beauty of this and other coastal places, 10% of proceeds from the book will be donated to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Christine Higgins, poet and writer, is a recipient of a McDowell Colony fellowship and two Individual Artist Awards from The Maryland State Arts Council. Her work has appeared in many journals, including Pequod, Little Patuxent Review, Lullwater Review, PMS (poemmemoirstory), and Poetry East.
