Vanessa has two master's degrees, one in psychology and one in special education. She lives in her imagination and hangs out there at the most inconvenient times. She loves kids, cats and square creatures, too, spends far too much time sipping massive golden-delicious latte cappuccinos spiced with polka dots wearing umbrellas, and works as both a writer and mental health therapist with incredibly brave, interesting people. An ally for peopl struggling with mental health issues and/or sobriety, she's never far from a lovely kitty teaching her how to slink, purr and paw for treats. Her favorite activities are playing, writing and laughing and she has had many unusual jobs including putting paperclips in envelopes (yes that was a real thing), picking cherries (was very bad at this and got in a lot of cherry fights) and worked as a temp typist wearing a mini skirt when they were considered terrible risque.
