Four reasons why this book works as a practice to manifest your dreams of health, wealth, and relationships:Our life is manifested from our current level of happiness, so increasing our level of happiness is how we manifest the life of our dreams. The practice of “doing” rather than “reacting” develops independence and self confidence to be a happier person and Michael’s Morning Routine (MMRT) is a practice of doing.Developing clarity and purpose gives meaning to our actions and this is how we develop proficiency and expertise in a craft. Being proficient or well skilled at a craft is also a source of enjoyment and happiness.Cultivating a warm heart for ourselves to share or express love, joy, compassion and peace, is a key to creating happiness. And our dreams are created from our happiness. In 2016 I found myself living in my car. Things did not look like they were going to get better. This book was written while living in my car. I decided to be happy because being unhappy was not creating the kind of life I enjoyed sharing with people. From this decision came the research and development of Michael’s Morning Routine (MMRT) and my inspiration to share this book with people who value investing in happiness. Thanks very much for your interest in this book.with kindnessMichael J Gilbert, BSN, Certified Happiness Pioneer Happiness Ninja Skills = Self ExpressionAll your dreams come true from happiness, not the other way around. — MWW (Michael’s Words of Wisdom)Ever notice how animals live instinctively? Birds, alligators, bears, deer, fish, whales — all wild animals live very instinctively. One of the differences between humans and animals is that animals know instinctively what and who they are going to be when they grow up, and humans don’t. Humans can grow up to be doctors, communicators, scientists, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, cooks, naturalists, musicians, athletes, anything. Humans have to choose what to be when we grow up. And now that many of our basic needs; food, shelter, clothing — are met and we add technology, we have nearly eliminated our need to act instinctively. Not living from our instincts, we are living from what society tells us or how society shows us how to act. The media, family, friends, and our social surroundings create our beliefs and dictate how we should live. And much of our media and society beliefs are from old beliefs, as Gregg Braden says: “Society is shifting from separation, competition, and conflict, to of cooperation, connection and peace.”(1.) We are becoming more aware that we support each other and that together we can better support nature. If we lived in a time and place without food and shelter we would instinctively build shelter and find food. But because our instinctive needs are provided we look outside of ourselves for what we should be doing. And we live in a society with false beliefs like, “Working hard is good for you.” The truth is, doing things you enjoy is good for you. Some people may say that if people only did things they enjoyed, nothing would get done. Yet when people go on vacation and have fun, they often expend twice as much energy than they normally do and come home from vacation needing a rest before going back to work. This book is a daily practice to create value in who you are, what you like, and what you would like to share with the world. Bruce Lee once said, “To express oneself honestly and openly is very hard to do.” Bruce Lee has also said in a more direct way,”How can I be me?” This journaling book is about “happiness” as the answer, rather than solving a problem. Many self-help books focus on solving a problem, for example; money, health, relationship, or other problems. And focusing on problems is over rated. As the General says, “This fight is not worth fighting.” (The General by Dispatch)This book is about creating happiness and allowing happiness to be your guide and your own answer.
