We were all standing in line at the clinic door. I was scared. Like all children, I clung to my mother. Willow was crying out of fear. Uncle Unicorn laughed when he saw us. When he saw Uncle Unicorn, he smiled and kindly placed a hand on his forehead. He knew that Uncle Unicorn is a pioneer in everything and always looks out for the lambs. The doctor inserted the large needle into Uncle s brown wool. I hid behind my mother out of fear. I thought I would hear Uncle moan loudly... But he didn t. One by one, the sheep went in until it was my turn. I entered the room with my mother. I wanted to run away, but my mother nudged me forward with her snout. To keep myself from being scared, I closed my eyes and started singing. Baa baa, you sing so sweetly, Running on your tiny feet. Underneath the sky so blue, Little lamb, I love you!
