Ryan Devries is a self-taught historian who has been drawn to history from a young age. Knowing his great-grandparents were part of the Second World War, this period in history has always held a special interest for him. After watching hundreds of documentaries and reading every book and article about World War Two that he could get his hands on, Ryan set out to write a book to share his passion with others. His goal is to help others understand and learn from what he believes is the greatest story in the history of humankind.
Ryan lives in Maple Ridge, BC with his wife Brianne and their French bulldog Tyrion. Axis Rising is his first book, but he already has plans to write other resources to make history accessible and enjoyable for everyone-no matter what their current level of knowledge is.
