WHISPERS OF CTHULHU: A HAIKU REIMAGINING

H. P. Lovecraft's chilling classic The Call of Cthulhu is reborn in a form you've never seen before: a haunting series of interconnected haiku. In this lyrical adaptation, experience the creeping dread of cosmic horror distilled into crystalline moments of poetry. Each three-line verse captures the mounting terror and otherworldly mystery of a world on the brink of madness.

From the sculptor's fevered dreams to storm-lashed seas and the awakening of the Great Old One, Devin Munroe creates a reading experience that is at once intimate and immense-a slow, poetic descent into the abyss.

Perfect for fans of both classic horror and the art of haiku, this book invites you to wander the shadowed corridors of imagination, where the natural and the supernatural entwine in seventeen syllables at a time.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Devin Munroe is an author, filmmaker, and artist who has been engaged in storytelling, in one form or another, for all of his life. Approaching his creative work as experimental research, he considered adapting classic literature into verse novels as a way to revisit some of his favourites. He was also inspired by his mother, who has, at 88 years old, started writing and publishing haiku. Though Devin was born in Ottawa, he has lived across Canada, from the rugged Fundy shores of Nova Scotia to Vancouver Island, and even spent five winters in the Yukon. He might move again.
