These are a description of the author's hunting trips, mixed with a bit of imagination. Some friends will recognize themselves in the stories and the author makes it clear that any resemblance to reality is mere coincidence. Some of the stories are humorous and others painful, but do not be guided by names and places that are all imaginary. Moreover, some of the species are now protected by law. The quality of the photos is due to their antiquity.

The author states: "I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing and recalling it. This first volume relates to my beginnings and some big game hunting trips in my country, Peru. I am also fond of small game hunting, and I have also exchanged some hunts parties with friends from abroad, which will be the subject of the following chapters. I have hunted from Canada to Tierra del Fuego and I try to continue doing it as long as my body allows me to Greetings to all and good hunting."
