He has a wide range of professional experience, beginning with lecturer in electrical engineering at AMU to becoming a Professor at three different Universities (Aligarh Muslim University, University Putra Malaysia, and Multimedia University Malaysia). Mukhtar has published work in journals, papers, and his own books.
