Obligation, Bill, Release, &c. to pay double Costs, stand in the Pillory, and sufTer Imprisonment for Year. The second Offence Felony. If any Person forge any Exchequer Bill, or In-J Ann.e. Ij. dorsement thereon, or knowingly tender the same in Payment, he shall sufser as a Felon. The forging of any Deed, Will, or Bond, Bill aGe 2..25. of Exchange, Note, &c. or publishing as true, knowing them to be salse, is Felony excluded Clergy: But not to make Corruption of blood. Forging, Counterseiting, or Uttering the Ac-./Geo. 2.c.n. ceptance of any Bill of Exchange; or Sum of accountable Receipts, for any Note, Bill, or Order for Money, &c. with Intent to defraud Persons, made Felony, without Benefit of Clergy. Towns, dc. to have their ancient Liberate dt Quo t1cs' Francnes' &c' Warratito" This Statute orders a Writ to issue out to the 30 E, 1. Sheriff, to permit all Men to enjoy their ancient Liberties j and on a Proclamation made to shew their Tenures to Justices of Affise, or forfeit their Franchise. 2TH.8.c. 24. All Writs, Indictments, Processes, &c. in Franchises to be made in the King's Name; Stewards, Bailiff's, and other Ministers of Liberties to attend the Justices of Anise, &c. and make due Execution of Processes, &c. and they may execute their Offices above a Year. 3iH. 8. c. zo. By this Statute the Franchises of religious Houses were granted to the King, and in the Survey of the Court of Augmentations; and the Stewards, Bailiffs, &c. to account there. 3 Car. i.e. 1.
