Today's views of leadership and management have significantly expanded to incorporate a variety of elements such as rewards, visions, and worker participation. This book is divided into two main sections. The first section consists of six chapters which provide an in-depth overview and discussion of shared entrepreneurship. The second section consists of eight original case studies commissioned by the authors, featuring such companies as Herman Miller, Inc., SRC Holdings, and W.L. Gore & Associates.

Frank Shipper is Professor of Management in the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University, USA. His teaching, consulting, and research interests are managerial/leadership skills development, employee ownership, and collaborative cultures. He has consulted for and studied employee-owned companies for over 25 years. Among other honors, he has received a Regents Award for excellence in research, University System of Maryland's highest faculty honor.
